The Italian gore band Anatomy plays a blend of death metal and grindcore. The four-piece take inspiration from bands like Carcass, Exhumed and Impaled, but the Italians sound nothing like the aforementioned. I do detect some minor references to Carcass, but nothing too obvious. The music is heavy, but not fast.

The songs are mostly moderate and it does get trivial after a while. It doesn't make things any better that there's nothing catchy in the music. The songs are all standard and without much nerve.

Anatomy use vocals that go from growl to a harsh yelling - it does provide a bit of contrast, but nothing that change anything. As a whole Overtreatment is not very brutal or tightly played. It really lacks something that is able to capture interest.

Despite of the inspiration Overtreatment is no way near what Exhumed, Carcass or Impaled have released. Anatomy is just another run-of-the-mill death metal band and not a very exciting one.
