Armaros is a trio from Illinois, USA. Musically the band seems inspired by bands like Council Of The Fallen, Diabolic and Morbid Angel among other. Despite of the many influences the outcome doesn't sound different from so much else. However the biggest handicap on Godless Empire is the programmed drums. They are way too noticeable and it results in the music not having the tightness it otherwise could have had.

Armaros have recorded, produced and mastered Godless Empire themselves and production-wise it's convincing. But that alone doesn't change the fact that Godless Empire never become a very interesting encounter. There's simply too much filler and too little to remember. Despite of Godless Empire being a rather mediocre experience it shows that the trio have made a foundation they can build on.
