Poland has always had a vibrant grindcore scene. Some bands that instantly comes to mind include Neuropathia, Third Degree, Squash Bowels and Antigama. A newer band is Wroclaw's Ass To Mouth. The Poles practice some pretty standard grindcore. Nothing wrong in this, but it doesn't really set the band apart from the majority of other grindcore bands.
The songs are of course fast, but the unit understands how to vary things by gearing down on a regular basis. Moreover the music often has strong hints of hardcore in it. Ass To Mouth is very good at what they do, but unfortunately there's nothing here that set them apart from everything else and that could constitute a problem later on. Overall I find the Asses for the Masses promo to be an alright experience at the present time, but I doubt it's an effort I'll remember in a month or two as it's simply too generic.
