What Ukrainian Epicrise and American Ballgag come up with on this split CD is not exactly something that hasn't already been done by a million other bands, but nonetheless it's still entertaining. Epicrise plays a mix of grindcore and porngrind. The music is like most in these two genres quite predictable and straight forward. I won't hold this against the band as the music is fairly diverse and well-played, but above all there nothing that really stand out among the songs. There are of course also a few porn samples here and there to spice it all up a little more and it works like it should. The four Ukrainians do a decent job on the split CD, but it never gets that exciting.

Ballgag plays grindcore with hints of slammy death metal in the vein of Devourment. The mixture works very well. Just like Epicrise the music is straight forward, but on the opposite not quite as predictable. Similar to the Ukrainians the songs are in the perverted end of the scale, which the different samples are proof of. Overall it all works well if you kind of look apart from the goofing around, but again goofing around is very much a part of this type of music. Common for both bands is that the production is not that great, but it's not bad enough to spoil the experience. If you like grind with humour then Kublo 69 / Tales of a Cornered Bitch is worth a closer look.
