The German grindcore band Belching Beet has a history that goes back to 1987. In spite of this it's actually limited what the band has put out of releases. It's not the most extreme and fast kind of grindcore that the four-piece play. The Germans do blast a lot, but it never becomes overly brutal. The style is more relaxed than what most other grindcore bands do and it's both good and bad, but mostly the last. The songs often have a very thrashy and hardcore-like vibe to them.

It works well and gives Belching Beet a sound of their own. The music is diverse, but regularly it feels low on intensity. It makes Out of Sight seem rather sluggish now and then. The band is to some degree able to save it, but it never gets really exciting. The bass is audible and gives the songs an organic feel and that's a plus. Out of Sight is not a bad effort and it does have its moments, but overall it's not a release that stay interesting for long.
