The Shed is far from new. The EP was originally put out in 2000, but it quickly ran out of print. Australia's No Escape Records now rectify this by re-releasing the EP. Musically The Shed is not very different from Bile's latest album Camp Blood. The music is of course cannibalistic goregrind with all that belongs. Here's plenty of gore and bizarre samples. I enjoyed Camp Blood a quite a bit and I feel the same way about The Shed. Of course there's nothing that hasn't been done by a million others before on the EP, but it doesn't make it less good.

If you liked Camp Blood or bands like Mortician, Hymen Holocaust or just grotesque goregrind in general then The Shed is not to be missed.
