Black Blood Of The Earth is a Polish doom band. The music has strong undertones of death metal in it, but in spite of that it doesn't differ from much else in the genre. However that's not really a problem. The problem on Demo 2011 is that the music isn't very exciting. Sure there are a few good riffs and parts, but most it drowns between boring filler.

There are two nine minute tracks. It's obvious that the band try to vary things the best it can, but it's not enough. "Awaiting the Dawn" is heavy and melancholic, but overall it sounds like any other death-doom song. "At a Standstill" is better. It has some interesting things going on, but in spite of that I can't help feeling bored. The simplistic and muddy production doesn't exactly profit the music either. It's actually a big part of what makes the music boring.

Black Blood Of The Earth do have potential, but to be honest I have difficulties finding the interesting in what band is doing on Demo 2011.
