Hmm, with a name like Burning Butthairs you'd expect the music to be a total joke, but that is actually not the case. The Germans sure know how to make the music brutal, but unfortunately the songs tends to appear rather uninspired and generic. In Many ways Impulse to Exhume is a very standard sounding effort and it gets tiring after some time.
Sure the band know what they are doing, but that something extra that could help make it a little more interesting is nowhere to be found and that constitutes a problem as there is not a great deal to remember in the music. Much of the catchiness is simply missing. It doesn't really make things any better that the production is generic sounding too. Especially the drums tend to sound very sterile. Isolated seen Impulse to Exhume is not a bad CD, but put up against what else is out there, there's not a whole lot that count in favour of Burning Butthairs.
