By looking at the bandname, title and artwork it should be apparent that Cadaveric Crematorium shouldn't be taken too seriously and the band definitely don't seem to be very serious either. Cadaveric Crematorium blends a lot of humour in the music and obviously they are enjoying what they are doing. It's funny during the first few listens, but then it gets tiresome. The music is not particular interesting either. It is deathgrind, but it never sounds really brutal and tight. There's nothing wrong with the musicianship, but it just doesn't transfer into something the least interesting.

None of the songs appeared catchy or memorable. Actually the only two tracks that stood out just a little were the Metallica parody "Paster of Muppets" and the instrumental, almost power metal -like "Infection". It's clear that the band try to vary things by blending genres and goofing around, by the results is not convincing or particularly funny. Serial Grinder is not an album I'll bother to dig up next time I'll hear some deathgrind that's for sure. Blood Duster or Embalming Theatre would be a better choice.
