Dead Centre plays death metal with a good mix of groove and full-on brutality, but what the Americans are doing hardly signalizes anything different. There are some noticeable references to Suffocation and Internal Bleeding, but the band don't sound like a rip-off. The songs are tightly played and to a large degree the band is also able to vary the music, but it do feel like that last extra something is missing.
A solo or something else to create additional variety would have been nice. The music is mostly fixed on slower mid-tempo sections, but as a whole the band pretty much plasters the whole spectrum. The production is thick and compact which benefits the overall impression. A few improvements in the song-writing and Dead Centre could become a band to look out for.
