It gets clear right away that the Finnish band Demolisher make no effort in hiding their adoration of the modern type of death metal, but the musical style also include traces of for instance the Florida scene.
The five guys from Helsinki don't really sound very different from so much else newer death metal. A lot of the focus is on the heavy and groove elements, but there's nothing wrong in this. The band is able to make their music versatile and catchy. Other characteristics for the three songs are that the pace stays on a moderate level.
Of course the Finns can't quite pass on blasting a bit once in a while, but most of the time they are very controlled in their expression. It's obvious that Demolisher can create music that has identity and it definitely benefit the songs. Despite of the similarities with other bands Demolisher don't just end up sounding like another copy. The five Finns are definitely well on their way and the three songs on Enter the Suffering promise well for what else might come from the band in the future.
