DRUGS OF FAITH - Demo 2008
Released: 2008 | Label: Self financed | Rating: 6/10 | Reviewer: PSL | Provided by: Drugs Of Faith

01. Race to the End
02. Anemic
03. The Age of Reason

This three song demo from Drugs Of Faith was put out to hold the band over until the trio have enough material for the next full-length. The music is a continuation of what the Americans did on the self-titled debut and the split CD with Antigama. The music is a mix of punk, hardcore and grind. Like always the music is convincing and the band know how to make it diverse and appealing.

"Race to the End" is the fastest track, but overall the music is a little faster than on the previous efforts. It suits the songs, but the band doesn't forget the moderate facets in the music. I detect a bit of Napalm Death at the start of "The Age of Reason", but in general the band doesn't sound like most other. This three song demo promise well for what next to come from Drugs Of Faith.
