Gorevisions from French goregrinders Disgorged Foetus turned out a little different than I had expected and not on the positive side. The disc contains two shows recorded at the Saint Nicholas is a Grindfreak II festival in Belgium 2003 and at the Imph'ames Festival in France 2002. Musically the band is pretty good, but the experience is totally spoiled by the poor sound as the drums and vocals are too loud. Clearly it's the original sound from the show. It hasn't been tampered with or anything.

It's clear that Gorevisions is made with very, very limited resources. The footage is shot with one camera only and the quality most of all reminds of something from a bad home-video. It's often very blurry and rough which make it tiresome to watch. Moreover there are not a lot of changes in the angles from where the footage is shot and this doesn't make it anymore interesting. The Saint Nicholas is a Grindfreak show is by far the best as it's one filmed closest to the band. The show at the Imph'ames Festival is the worst even though it has the best sound. The footage is bad and it gets really annoying when the cameraman starts shaking the camera back and forth trying to create some sort of effect. It doesn't work!

The video clips are unfortunately not very good either. They are all live clips which have been dubbed with the sound from the studio recordings. It looks really goofy when the music doesn't follow what the band is doing. Moreover the DVD contains a gallery, biography and discography, all which isn't very interesting. The menu and the whole setup of the DVD are not very professional done. Often the text doesn't fit on the screen. I think you have to be a major fan of Disgorged Foetus in order to appreciate Gorevisions, but I admit it doesn't get much more underground than this. If you like it this way or not is up to you, but I wasn't impressed.
