The Spanish death metal band Dying is currently looking for a label to put out their latest effort Born From Impurity. I'm confident that it will happen as the four-piece have made some very good music even though it's straight forward and standard in every way. There's nothing different in the music and Dying get lots of inspiration from Cannibal Corpse and Deicide, but that doesn't make Born From Impurity less good.

The whole approach to the music, the riffs, the solos and the production is reminiscent of death metal around 1990. The songs are diverse and the Spaniards are convincing when it comes to combine the fast with the slower. The band doesn't exaggerate with the blastbeats, but the same could be said about the slower parts in the songs.

Something I like a lot about the music is that there's a good amount of solos in the songs. Again, these have a feel that give associations to death metal around 1990, maybe in particular the Swedish kind of death metal and this is something that go straight in for my part. With Born From Impurity Dying has made some solid death metal . If you don't demand too much of you music and like it straight forward than what these four Spaniards do is well worth a closer look.
