The gory death metallers Eaten Alive were formed in Baltimore, Maryland, USA in 2004. The band play repulsive and gore filled death metal apparently inspired by bands such as Autopsy, Carcass and old Cannibal Corpse. The songs are diverse and packed with captivating riffs.

Eaten Alive doesn't like so many other bands just go for all-out brutality, but rely more on the slower and heavier parts which I think is an asset. The band does speed up the tempo here and there and it adds to the diversity of the songs. All three songs are good, but "Eaten to Deformity" appeared the most valuable. It's a little hard to judge the band properly based on a demo with nine minutes of music, but I think Eaten Alive has a lot of potential and if they continue as heard on Demo 2005.
