Like the debut Teenage Giallo Grind No Escape Records has just reissued the latest CD from Gruesome Stuff Relish. Despite a couple of split CD's in between and a longer hiatus Horror Rises From the Tomb is the right continuation of the debut and if anything then this has only made me an even bigger fan of the band. Like on Teenage Giallo Grind the trio rely much on the characteristics and clichés of the goregrind genre, but the band combine these in the best way with mucky death metal reminiscent of early Entombed and Autopsy.

The Spaniards grind a little less than before. Also the use of b-movie type samples is a little more restrained, but on the whole things are like they used to and I'm thankful for that. The production is dirty, full and close to the sound on Teenage Giallo Grind. The No Escape Records reissue features two bonus tracks "True Gore" and "Invasion of the Flesh Hunters". Both recorded during the Horror Rises From the Tomb sessions, so no surprises there. If you like Razorback Records-style goregrind then Horror Rises From the Tomb is a absolute must. Viva Spanish goregrind.
