01. Inside the Vacuum
02. Shapelessness
03. Merging

05. The Glorious Battle Between the Ancient Warriors of Baralnazog
06. Sick Lick Kill
07. Engineering Annihilation
08. The Face of the Fade

This is certainly more different than it is good. Human Taxidermy is Anthony Roark's one-man project. Roark mix noise and electronics with groove death metal. That idea isn't exactly new and while some bands can make it work very well it's not the case here. Regardless of Roark's musical abilities the songs are boring and without the tiniest hints of something elevating.

It doesn't get any better that he throws in an uninteresting track like ""The Glorious Battle Between the Ancient Warriors of Baralnazog". I'm aware that it's meant as a fun thing, but it doesn't work at all. It only makes The Distinction of Extinction appear even more unserious than it probably is. The Distinction of Extinction is an EP I easily could have done without as there is nothing worthwhile whatsoever to find on it.
