The Malaysian four-piece Humiliation knows their death metal. The band is obviously inspired by Bolt Thrower, Obituary and to some degree also Morgoth. It can be heard in the music, but I don't see this as a bad thing. And as you can guess the four-piece doesn't exactly venture into unfamiliar territory. But with Humiliation this isn't much of an issue.

The songs are diverse and there are many good riffs and parts to prevent it from getting boring. The four-piece does a fine job in getting the feel just right. The songs are mid-tempo with lots of heavy parts, but the band do speed things up a bit here and there. As you can tell there's nothing different in what Humiliation is doing, but Face the Disaster is a fine MCD to check out if you like your death metal old school.
