Inbreeding Rednecks is a new death metal band from Denmark. The Danes emphasize in the info sheet that they are inspired by brutal death metal and grindcore. It's very possible that they are, but it's not something that reflects much in the music as the songs aren't very fast or brutal.
The songs are above all straight forward. It seems like the band get some inspiration from American death metal, but the music most of all sound like something in between fellow Danish bands Dawn Of Demise and Thorium. There's nothing wrong in this, but it doesn't exactly set Inbreeding Rednecks apart from so much else Danish death metal.
The song-writing is average. The music is fairly diverse, but the band has trouble coming up with riffs that are exciting. The five Danes are to some degree able to compensate for this on tracks like "Robes Made of Virgin Skin", "The Art of Vengeance" and "Decomposing Entrails", but overall there's something missing in the music. It just never gets really interesting.
Corpse Molester is a demo that despite its shortcomings show that Inbreeding Rednecks know how to handle everything from the music to the production and artwork. All in all it does promise well for what next to come from the five Danes, but more work on the song-writing is needed.
