I did not like the predecessor Mangled, Hollowed Out and Vomit Filled much and I feel mostly the same about the follow-up Dawn of the Necrofecalizer as it's fundamentally just more of the same.

Improvements and progression have been made, but the music is still thin and rather boring. The band hammer ahead, but what immediately becomes clear is that there's really no power or intensity to keep Dawn of the Necrofecalizer going for long. The guitars sound thin and overall the music doesn't sound very tight either. A fatter and better production could possibly have made wonders here, but as it is now it's just a 30 minute trip into boredom.

Putrescence do vary things a little, but still the music never get a stint of nerve or appeal. Moreover the band tries to put in some humour a few places like for an example in the titletrack "Dawn of the Necrofecalizer", but it ends up sounding goofy and no very funny and this actually only makes it all even worse to listen to. If you liked Mangled, Hollowed Out and Vomit Filled then you'll most definitely like Dawn of the Necrofecalizer as it's more of the same, but I certainly don't.
