01. Human Vivisection
02. Perverser Malevolence
03. Raping the Comatose
04. Feeding a Mind Corrupted

Revilement is a Taiwanese band. The four-piece plays brutal Americanized death metal and that doesn't exactly set the music apart from so much else. The music may be short of novelty, but that doesn't make it bad.

The song-writing is diverse and the band adds enough groove, changeups and breakdowns in the songs to stop the music from getting trivial. However the music does have its shortcomings. Now and then it isn't all that tightly played. The band is to an extent able to compensate for this, but on the whole it's difficult to ignore.

The production and mixing is above all to blame for music not having the needed tightness. The production is too dry and often the guitars tends to somewhat vanish among the drums and vocals. I miss a juicier and stronger production to complement the music.

Human Vivisection is not a bad effort, but there is definitely more work to be done before the music becomes really tight and brutal.
