On their Promo 2007 Austria's Seeds Of Sorrow practice some rather standard sounding death metal. The unit seem to a degree inspired by bands like Bolt Thrower and Iniquity. Of course there are many other influences as well, but I did hear many similarities with the two aforementioned. The four songs are fairly diverse both in terms of tempo and riffing. The first two songs on the demo are without a doubt the best while the other two don't leave a lasting impression. As I indicated before Seeds Of Sorrow don't differ from so much else, but generic doesn't necessarily mean that the music isn't any good. It's clear that these Austrians can create music that for the most has enough weigh to be interesting. This they prove on "Her Eyes". The production on the demo is dirty, but also somewhat hollow. A more meaty sound would probably benefit the music more, but as a whole Promo 2007 is not that bad.
