As you probably already have figured out by the title and the band name this is anything but ordinary. The band calls their style cyber disco grind rock and I guess that tag is very fitting. Their style is impossible to describe. It needs to be heard to understand as the music is extremely odd. It can always be discussed if being weird for the sake of just being weird is good. It definitely sounds like this is what Spaceshiters is trying.

I don't think being this weird is good and that is also why Grinding Dancers from Outa Space get annoying right away. The music immediately becomes a blurry chaos of thin guitars, computer drums and some extremely silly and goofy vocals. I'm sure most of this is meant to be fun, but frankly it isn't. The music is sopping in electronic samples and this could have been an asset, but it isn't.

Actually it's difficult to find anything positive to say about Spaceshiters other than they most definitely have found a style they rightfully can call their own. I have no idea who this CD would appeal to as it's not one or the other.
