Standing On A Floor Of Bodies is a grindcore project by the graphic artist Mike Stitches. The music is made up by bass, computer drums, noises and vocals. It's definitely not music for most people. It's brutal and somewhat muddled, but that's also a part of the charm.

The songs are very short so it's kind of difficult to pinpoint the inspirations. But judging by what I read on the bands Facebook page the band is inspired by Benumb, Circle Of Dead Children, Ministry and many other band. I find it hard to form an opinion based on four minutes of music, but I do think Mike has some interesting things going on.

The band has recently put out another demo and is currently working on its first full-length. It will be interesting to hear how the music transfers to a full-length release as the four minutes on the demo already seems to be a bit too noisy for me.
