The Greek grindcore band The Anal Treatment XXX-Perience does things the D.I.Y. way. The band has recorded and put out this effort by themselves. The music is brutal grindcore with undertones of goregrind and hints of groove. It's definitely not bad, but I miss something in the songs to make it a bit more interesting. The good riffs and parts are not all that many and it does wear off on the music.

No doubt that the band can write brutal songs, but the catchy parts are too few to make it exciting, but I do enjoy a song like "Aunanismos Taxytatos". There's good variation in what the band is doing and they know how to change enough between the fast and somewhat slower part so it doesn't get tiring. It does help a lot.

The biggest minus is the production. It's rough and blurry. It does have its charm, but it doesn't profit the music at all as many of the riffs and parts drown. A fatter and juicier type of production would have made a difference for the better I'm sure.

Inhuman Anal Exploration is not an effort that differs from most other releases in this genre. If you like some brutal grindcore border-lining goregrind then The Anal Treatment XXX-Perience is worth taking a closer look at. The band does have some okay ideas, but it takes a little more work before it gets really interesting.
