On the debut Subterranean Streams Trimegisto practice dark death metal with strong references to Immolation, Incantation, Morbid Angel and the likes. The band shows right away that they have fine song-writing skills and like the aforementioned inspirations Trimegisto also have the ability to create music that coalesce twisted lines of melody with both gloomy and straight forward brutality. Perhaps the best examples of this are "Spurning the Patriarcs From the Underworld", "Bloodless Escene" and R.O.I.D.O.R. Eye".

The songs are vigorous, diverse and all the time tiny, but attention-grabbing details appear making Subterranean Stream an exciting effort to explore. The vocals are close to the likes of Ross Dolan and Craig Pillard which of course only make the similarities with Immolation and Incantation even more obvious. Despite the strong influences the Chileans put in lots of own ideas and elements which to a large degree give the music its own sound and feel. Subterranean Streams is in all aspects a convincing effort. Most of the music sinks in right away and there's no filler or bad songs on the CD, only death metal of the highest calibre.
