I'm not too crazy about computer drums and they are also rather simple and monotone on Harvesting the Cunt Nectar, but there's something about the album that let XXX Maniak get away with it. The music is an aural assault of sexist hyperblast goregrind - perhaps the perfect soundtrack to a bizarre and kinky pornflick? Musically Harvesting the Cunt Nectar pretty much sound like anything else, but it's the samples and intros that makes the difference. There are lots of samples, intros and outros, but they are not the usual stuff that is just snatched from movies. I'm under the impression that most of them are made by the band themselves and they just work perfect as they are an integrated part of the songs.

The music itself lacks a bit with regard to diversity thanks to the one-tracked hyperblast drumming which at times almost drown the guitars, but the samples help colour the soundscape so this never really become too much of an issue. There may not be anything new under the sheet here, but Harvesting the Cunt Nectar sure provides nearly 25 minutes of relentless and grotesque entertainment that would make most parents lock up their daughters. If you are one of those people who easily take offence of drugs and bizarre sexual perversities then Harvesting the Cunt Nectar is not recommendable. This is music for the sick and depraved!
